Prayer Requests

The January 2012 team are preparing for their journey, please pray for this team also.

Myanmar January 2012

Margaret and her team are about to head off to Myanmar. They will see and hear firsthand the difference our partnership is making to the church and the community. They will have the opportunity to visit the current development projects and spend time with students and congregation members.

Please pray for them.

Thank you for your prayers!

The November team has not long returned from Myanmar. Thank you for all your prayers and support. The team has a really successful trip, and were overwhemed by what they saw, learnt and experienced.

Heres what Robyn Burnett has to say of the trip...

One of the things that I am aware of is how blessed I have been to have had this experience.  I want to thank, PCANZ, CWM, members of St Margaret’s church and my family and friends for giving me the funds to be able to go.  I also feel blessed to have been able to have the experience with some amazing young leaders from PCANZ.  It was a great team and we had a lot of fun with some good challenges too.

The relationship between PCANZ and PCM is something that is unique and extremely important.  We got to see projects that PCANZ have supported through the rice bowl fund and talk to people whose lives have been touched by visits from PCANZ and I can now say without hesitation we are making a difference.  God is using the partnership between the churches in the two countries that seem worlds apart, to teach each church in different ways.

This is a partnership that is extending the Kingdom of God and the more I think about the people I met the more I want to advocate for this partnership.  Mission is not about one powerful group “saving” another group but it’s about this partnership of learning and connection between peoples, God’s Kingdom will grow as a result of this partnership and I feel excited to see where God will led us next.
